Education and Youth Engagement

Supporting educational opportunities for diverse communities of visitors to learn about and be inspired by the park. Your gifts create opportunities for youth to visit, learn, and work in the park, helping to create the next generation of park stewards.

As part of a comprehensive approach to youth engagement in stewardship issues, Pinnacles Pathways encompassses a unified effort between local leaders, communities, and partners to connect our local youth with their public lands and shared heritage. Multiple opportunities exist to engage youth; during park visits, in the classroom, and through volunteer and employment opportunities. The following programs encompass priority areas that have been funded or seek continued funding at Pinnacles National Park that include a youth engagement component.
